Kim Kardashian has been on a hair-do spree lately, and it’s all about her.
While she may not have been a fan of hair straightening before, she’s now a fan, as her latest hair style is so different from her previous styles that some of the hairstylists on Instagram have gone to extreme lengths to recreate it.
Kim Kardashian recently took a break from her beauty routine, but she hasn’t completely stopped styling and it looks like she’s going to keep going.
“She has a ton of hair,” says stylist Amy Sorensen, “and she has a style that’s very stylized and very formal.”
Kim’s hair is the most traditional she’s ever had, according to stylist Jennifer J. Bailes, who has worked with the Kardashian family for decades.
Kim has always been a stylist first, but it’s also been her profession, so she knows what she wants in a haircut.
“The more hair you have, the more she knows that you’re the boss,” says Bailis.
And she knows exactly what style to go with.
“If it’s a straight haircut, she knows it’s for the ladies, so if it’s short, she’ll look at it and go, ‘That’s for men.'”
But she’s also known for a few other styles that are unique to her.
“I really like her hairstyle for a very casual kind of look,” says Beverly Hills stylist Elizabeth Olesen.
“Her hair doesn’t always fit perfectly and it doesn’t really show, but I think that’s kind of a part of who she is, that she’s a very comfortable woman, very comfortable to be with, very happy.”
Olesan, who worked with Kardashian in the past, also likes to take a different approach.
“It’s more of a casual approach to hair,” she says.
“For me, it’s just a simple haircut.
I think it’s beautiful, but you don’t want to go to the extremes.
I do a lot of different styles and I think a lot has to do with style and where you stand with your hair.”
Kim has been seen at the White House and with Kim’s daughters and husband, Kanye West.
But it’s not clear when her hair will be going back to the way it was.
“That’s not something I can say for sure,” says Soren.
“We’ll see.”
And for now, Kim’s going through a hair revolution, but is it worth the wait?
“I like her style because she’s comfortable with it,” says Olesa.
“A lot of people don’t like straight hair, but that’s OK.”
